At Anchor (with a Harbour View)

This accommodation was in an excellent location and the views were stunning. Beds were comfortable and clean. Fresh towels provided and additional little extras were greatly appreciated - dog biscuits went down a treat with my Cavapoos!

I felt that the appartment could do with a little TLC - few stains on the carpets and a paint freshen up some of the dawers on the dresser had broken handles so couldn't be used. However this wouldn't put me off returning this is merely an observation. Parking later at night was fine, however if you returned during the day it was a bit of a nightmare to get a space which of course is not the fault of the owners and just to make others aware.

Location is key for this appartment. Right on the waterfront overlooking the harbour from front windows. Eating options and shops are on the doorstep. The kitchen is well stocked with the bits n bobs you have at home.

The flat is a wee bit tired looking, it wouldn't take much to freshen it up, particularly the bathroom. An armchair for both front windows to enjoy the views.

The property was amazing, very comfortable with everything you would need. Fantastic location.

Work to rear of property which we were aware of before

Its sea facing, lot of shops nearby, nice seaside walks, nearby Coop supermarket, lot of nearby beaches for families. It's a great getaway for a very relaxing vacation.

Parking is a bit tricky.

Great central location, well equipped with fabulous views. Flat was exactly as described with good communication before and after our stay. Highly recommended! We look forward to returning soon!

Parking is always a challenge in Anstruther but plenty spaces away from the seafront. The circular stairs to the flat could be difficult for guests with mobility problems.

Position, Comfortable. Well-equipped.

Dirty tray left in oven. Fridge not cleaned out. Place looking a bit tired, particularly bathroom. Heating didn't seem to work until last day when we where about to check out ! Above has been mentioned to the owner who we met.

The location was exceptional but the view was even better. The inside of the property was nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. We travelled with our dog and he was well catered for with bowls, a ball, some treats and poo bags being left for him. The owners communicated well on the build up and made it very easy.

My only negative for the property was the mattress for the bed, it provided zero support and the only reason this is a 9/10 rather than 10/10.
