At Anchor (with a Harbour View)

The location was exceptional but the view was even better. The inside of the property was nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. We travelled with our dog and he was well catered for with bowls, a ball, some treats and poo bags being left for him. The owners communicated well on the build up and made it very easy.

My only negative for the property was the mattress for the bed, it provided zero support and the only reason this is a 9/10 rather than 10/10.

Door of the second bedroom wouldn't shut and hallway carpet stained.

Enjoyed the super location of the flat and the unbeatable views. Good, light kitchen and lounge, too. Very powerful shower and well equipped bathroom.

The hall carpet needs either serious shampooing or more likely replacing with vinyl, as it is extremely badly stained in several places with what looks like dog wee (dog friendly property). Woodwork in hallway also needs repainting. Would also be good to fill and paint over the various holes in the wall/door in the otherwise excellent bathroom - shower is first class! Parking was also a bit of a nightmare (not the owner's problem, I know, but nonetheless could put some folks off) as the public car parks opposite the flat are full virtually all day until early evening.

From first impression we felt like we are home the flat is cosy and warm. every thing is nice and clean and bedrooms are big. the view is very nice.

well, the curtains in bedrooms if could be change to a classic curtain well be nice. the toilets sink need to change to modern one which combain the cold and hot water, and kitchens facility need to be cleaned and take care of it.

Large comfortable space with fabulous views out over the harbour. Lovely extras on arrival, tea, coffee, milk sachets, fresh bread, and even doggie essentials.

Great location & really well equipped. There was tea, coffee & long life milk plus a fresh loaf of bread. Everything we needed was there. Comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe & hangers. Plus dog bowls, poo bags & dog treats. Would definitely book again

Apartment was spotless! In the centre of Anstruther with great views of the harbour. Everything you could possibly want, and little extras like bread, coffee biscuits and jams.

At Anchor (with a Harbour View) is a lovely, comfortable place to stay, bright, welcoming, and with amazing views over the harbour. It’s got everything you need for a relaxing break, and the little touches around the flat make it feel cared for. The location is quiet but still close to everything, and just watching the boats come and go is a real treat. A great spot to slow down and recharge.

We were informed about the building work, but it did not impact our stay.
