Locatie was top, waren zo in de stad of op de snelweg om verder te reizen. Faciliteiten waren aanwezig maar konden wel schoner

It’s a shame as this house could be so lovely but it needs a deep clean. The showers were actually grim with orange dirt and mould around the edges and on the shower pipe! So many things broken, door handles, windows, sofa arm, wardrobes. Rubbish piled high in the garden (even though bin day was the day before). Thankfully we read some reviews about no knives and forks so bought some (and left them there). Dishwasher still had the people before us cups and washing in. There was a pair of pants left behind from the people before. I could go on. Such a shame as these are all easy fixes which could stop the negative reviews. ALSO THERE IS A DEPOSIT TO PAY - £150 EVEN THOUGH IT STATES NO DEPOSIT IN THE Q&A so be mindful of that. We video the whole place upon entering and leaving so we could document the damages.

Location to the bus station good which is what we needed. Parking was good, right outside. Bedrooms were basic but comfortable. Ok as a base for sleeping.

Basement bedroom down very steep steps. Unable to find WiFi, the network given in the info was not available and no others could be found. TV would not work without this. Facilities very basic, including kitchen utensils etc.

Even though some situations came up we were still accommodated nicely and we had an amazing host.

If only we could stayed and not moved around a lot but again situations happen so that’s fine.

The bathrooms were filthy and clearly hadnt been cleaned before our arrival. Everything was usable but definitely needs upgraded and cleaned properly. bath panel falling apart in downstairs bathroom and upstairs bathroom tiles were filthy. We only had 6 towels for 8 of us and most of those towels supplied weren’t even dry! we had to put them on radiators before we could use them, i messaged to ask for more but got no reply. back garden was completely unusable. untidy, broken furniture. area was very unpleasant with rubbish lying all over the surrounding streets. luckily we didnt have to spend much time there but just to sleep as it would have ruined our new year.

There were enough beds for us. Could be an amazing place if it was looked after and done up.

The house its self is lovely, enough beds however we were give one towel per double bed, only one hard pillow on the bed, we stayed in the room with the ensuite bathroom however the toilet ran the whole time and there were noises from the system the whole time so not much sleep. We were given one roll of toilet paper in the upstairs and downstairs bathroom for 8 people. The downstairs bath was unusable as it wouldn’t drain so everyone had to shower in our room. There was no tv remote, so no tv for the kids trying to change channels and volume on the box was a nightmare. There were only 4 knives in the draw however we were asked to check the dishwasher which had the remainder so had to empty that. The grill trains in the over were dirty and needed to be washed. The kitchen sponges were old and breaking apart and dirty. We tried to bbq which was something we asked about before booking however the drains flooded the back garden, the back garden was full of rubbish and old disintegrated boxes, the outdoor furniture is old and broken and the bbq is brick so you put the charcoal at the bottom and it gets wet from the drains. There is berry’s everywhere and weeds. We had to sweep and clean up before we could try use some of the outside place as indoors does not have enough space for everyone. The stair lights at the top of the steep stairs did not work and the one going down into the cellar. The poor cleaning lady did come late the Saturday afternoon to give two more towels as that all she had and some dishwashing liquid and loo rolls although we had gone and bought. She also gave us two light bulbs so the kids would be safe at night going to the loo as it’s pitch black. There was vapes in the downstairs room which hadn’t been cleaned properly, we had to constantly sweep up the berry’s that came in. We tried our best but it was a nightmare. I understand the cleaner had a death in the family so it wasn’t up to it’s normal standards however it was run down and needs work

The beds were very comfortable and there was ample space around the property, the location was just perfect for us. Host was really helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely a place we would stay again in.

There was a slight smell but the host was very helpful and has this looking into immediately.
