Over priced for what it is as myself and 3 children were able to say across the road in a hotel with breakfast included the two nights after for the same price per night
GBThe location was perfect, right on the Main Street close to everything, the beach was a 2 minute walk. The large back garden had 2 separate areas that were fully enclosed for the dog.

When I arrived there was no one at the property. It was a ground floor apt. The windows were wide open. I was able to get my head inside. The odour was awful. It was obvious that the property had pets in it or something which caused a smell.
GBLocation right in the centre of the village and across from the beach. Cost and is suitable for a few nights.
The anax apartment is in poor condition and facilities are of a low standard. But worse was the musty smell and some of the items are dated/damaged with wear and tear. But the cost is so low, so as the saying goes you get what you pay for.
GBI liked Everything! Perfect setting off the main road in Downings, quiet, safe and secure and just steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. The host, is so lovely, friendly and welcoming and actually came round to make sure I had managed to access the apartment (although she had given excellent instructions on how to do so), and had everything I needed.... and I did! It is a delightful, cosy, and comfortable place to stay. I was on my own but it would be perfect for a couple too with an additional sofa for extras! It is spacious and has all the amenities required and I was surprised how spacious it felt. I also really appreciated the Welcome Package and note which, were a delightful surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Beach Golf Getaway Apartment 1 and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it as an ideal place to stay for travellers to this area of Donegal. If I'm visiting this area again I would definitely want to stay here. My thanks to the hosts for making my stay so enjoyable... despite the wet weather! but, it was winter and it is Ireland!

The place was absolutely freezing, we stayed for 10 minutes booked into the Beach Hotel. We were that glad to stay somewhere warm.
