Great communication from the host all throughout the trip and in the perfect location.

Location

Location was in the centre of town but everything else was so bad.

The 2 apartments were booked to accommodate for 6 adults and 2 children. The double bed in apartment no 1 was slightly bigger than a standard single bed, the sofa beds even with mattress toppers were hard as nails and anyone who slept on these complained of sore backs the next day. Situation was that bad the grandparents within the group decided to look elsewhere to stay as was totally unsuitable to sleep 8 people. Apartment no 2 smelt of damp. Both were small, and dingey. After raising all complaints with the owner, I was told that she had come across my type before, looking for a refund or a discount for any excuse whatsoever, the attitude was appalling and made no attempt whatsoever to excuse the small beds, smell, hard sofa beds or any of the other many issues with these properties. The electrical sockets were also loose and hanging out of the walls with loose wires, totally inappropriate and dangerous for children. The small garden area hadn't had the grass cut in months and was told a gardener would arrive the next day and he never appeared the entire time of our stay. We all left and went home 1 full day early as it was so unpleasant and uncomfortable. It would a punishment to stay there any longer as was so uncomfortable, its clear these properties are simple money making pits with no desire to provide comfort to the renter whatsoever, would never stay again.
