GBthe location is excellent, very centrally located in the village and parking spaces are available and the shower was OK. The hotel opposite was very nice, as were the retaurants and amenities in the area - especially the Harbour bar!
The musty smell hit us the moment we opened the door, the smell presumably means there is a damp problem, furniture was very tired, the sofa bed was old and uncomfortable, the room blinds were not very useful when the light streams through the glass in the doors on both bedrooms or round the cracks in the door. When the neighbours shower, there is a loud banging noise that wakes you up, when all three shower, it lasts for 45 minutes, the pictures of the exterior of the place were misleading - it's a lean-to apartment out the back. There's a huge TV, but does not seem to work (especially with no wifi!) and in 2024 there's absolutely no wifi in the place and you're in a location with really poor mobile phone reception. It's the first bad experience I've had on Booking.com. I think the other apartment in this location must be a lot better!

GBReally great location, right in the centre of Downings, and close to the beach. Clean, comfortable accommodation with great directions from the host. Lovely stay - we all slept so well!

No heating no toaster , tv but no ariel hence no TV, no WiFi, scaffolding everywhere, not fit for purpose 😢

GBThe property is in an excellent location. Only minutes from shops, restaurants and the beach. The hosts were extremely amicable and help us with anything we needed.
GBWe were met by the host on arrival, very friendly and showed us everything we needed. Fab location. Will definitely be back.
