The Burton York 3 bedroom House sleeps 6

The house was excellent, it was immaculate, very modern and had everything we needed. There was a bus stop directly outside the house, it is in a residential area which was very quiet. I would definitely book this property again.

There was nothing to fault about the property.

The owners have done everything within their control to make this property the best it can be. They’ve done a great job. The downsides had less impact than we initially thought and are out of their control: you can’t park on the drive, the bus stop queue is right outside the house and the house / garden / drive next door isn’t looking great.

The house was much bigger than expected with spacious rooms and plenty of wardrobe space. Lovely, big, social kitchen & dining area to be together. We loved the fireplace and lighting in the loungr. Dish washer & washing machine were a bonus. 30 minute walk into York. Great, big towels, shampoo etc & toilet roll were an helpful surprise.

Parking was not as easy as led to believe. Due to bus stop outside, the driveway is not accessible and you can not park on the road due to double yellow lines. You have to either leave your car away from the house or attempt to manoeuvre onto the drive. The mattresses are very soft so if you like a soft one you will love it. The bath side is very high so I could not get in to bath or shower as there is no handrail or bath mats to stop me slipping or falling. My daughter and children said the shower was ok though.

Location was good with a bus stop outside the gate for getting to the city

TV was very difficult to operate so couldn’t use it

Cutlery & crockery are washed by previous guests and needed washing before use

Tidy, confortable, practical.

Outskirts of city so relatively easy to access Bus stop outside Facilities close by

Couldn’t use the off road parking bay but this didn’t effect us as off road parking very close by

Bathroom bin wasn’t emptied but not an issue.
