"Hexham bank holiday break"

The one bedroom house gave us great flexibility on how we spent our days. It was comfortable and convenient to the pub 😉, large comfy bed, plenty of hot water and very quite. The pub served food but the standout stars were definitely the staff, generous with information, warm with their welcome and inclusive with their conversations. Hexham is a great base for either foot, car or train exploring.

Excellent, clean and well thought out accommodation - lovely powerful shower, very comfortable bed, good space to do some work. Restaurant was excellent, steak and ale pie was outstanding (one of the best I've had) and delicious local beer on tap. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

Serves continental breakfast only (so I would bet their cooked breakfasts would be amazing), but it was nicely put together so not really a negative.
