Quirky Stay 10 min walk to city with free parking

It had everything we needed for our short break. A beautiful little home, comfortable, cosy and a great location.

We all instantly felt at home, its cute & cosy. The instructions provided were detailed enough that we didn’t need to bother the host. Was cold inside when we arrived but warmed up so quickly and the bedding was plenty to ensure a warm & very comfortable sleep. Some people might find the bed too low, or difficult to get up from but we were fine & slept so well. It’s a nice, quiet neighbourhood, we didn’t see or hear the neighbours at all. I walked my dog after dark without any worry. It is a mini home, we didn’t miss anything, hairdryer, iron, enough utensils to cook were all at hand. It was ideal to leave the car there & walk the easy 10mins into York each day. We found a few local convenience stores in the nearby roads & a friendly pub, plus an Asda only a couple of minutes in the car. The courtyard garden is surprisingly big, and covered, so even though the weather was not the best, our dog was happy to go out & explore so she wasn’t under our feet. We all said we’d love it for our home!

Perfect in every way. Facilities were amazing and everything you needed. Very well set out, very quirky as advertised. Great place to stay. Highly recomended.

Loved the quirkyess of the place. Very clean had everything we needed. Parking close to center of York. Very quiet comfortable bed for a good night's sleep.

Everything!! Thank you for having us in your beautiful home. The attention to detail was beautiful - cool art, plants and fresh herbs/teas, recommendations listed in the kitchen (thank you BTW we had the best food) - we absolutely loved this home. It was in a perfect location and was just a short walk into town. Area was quiet and we felt safe. 10/10 :)

All of it very quirky,really relaxing and a fantastic location Parked the car up ,right outside and didn't need it all week.

Nothing really,maybe shower was a little small but nevertheless it was more than adequate

Lack of kitchen equipment

The location was great very close to the town center but still quiet in the evening. Separate rooms were great and plenty of space for the dog as well as an enclosed outside area.

The bed is a little low but very comfortable just not suitable for older people. The entry and exit is very tight as well as the car parking space if you have an estate car.
