Clifford House - 4 Bed Home Within The City Walls

A great social space to keep a group happy. Older group members liked the closeness to the city (walls especially are within touching distance)

Downstairs worked really well and loved the posh outside loo!!

Beautiful house, big and comfortable. Central to York, within the walls but quiet and out of the way of the tourist circus across the river. Host Dave was very helpful!

Brilliant location and beautiful house

Loved the house! So comfortable and welcoming. The posh loo out back was fab. The cute owl on the top of the stairs.

Could have used a little more seating room for our group of 7 but we still enjoyed our time there.

Lovely house . Everything we needed , including towels and toiletries. Lovely and warm . Helpful host .

Please put a door handle on the inside of the bathroom .

Location

It doesn’t have 2 bathrooms. It has 1 indoor bath/shower and toilet. I outside toilet and washing machine. Stairs are very steep. The top bedroom has no heating or clothes hanging facility, no curtains on window, 2 low Childs beds. I had to sleep in the lounge on a sofa. The heating downstairs could not be adjusted either 42 degrees or off. No instructions to use heating, oven or TV. The fire had no fuel to use.
