Central Manchester-1BR Apartment Free Parking-Cinema Room

It's right outside old Trafford, it's by the quay, tram stop is 2mins away. It's got all sorts of restaurants and shops nearby. Its a quiet place. Bus stop outside too. Has reception for deliveries. Its awesome. I would recommend for a quick stay.

Change the mattress, have plain beddings, the place could be cleaner as its just a small enough place. But its a good stay. I also didn't like that your agents charge for early and late check in/out. Creased sheets which could look untidy especially due to mattress condition.

Perfect location for attending a concert at the Warehouse across the street! Room was clean and very comfortable, nice big fridge and freezer; host was amazing, answered any questions within the hour and provided clear instructions for getting the room key.

My only complaint is there was no microwave, but there is an oven so not really a problem, just a personal preference!

Spotless, great location especially if you want to watch man united as it’s right outside!

Locality as I was visiting Old Trafford for a visit.

The location was ok

We arrived and the host hadn’t arranged cleaning from the previous guests. He lied initially blaming the cleaner, the cleaner told us the truth. The cleaner also said the hosts frequently allow drug use on site and have had to clean up drug paraphernalia. On arrival the apartment was filthy, strong smell of smoke and cannabis, beer cans everywhere, cigarette ends, chewed up chewing gum. There’s also no sofa bed or second bed and no window coverings. The host was a nightmare to deal with, they’re extremely dishonest, they gaslight you; even when you present them with overwhelming evidence; and has only provided a 20% refund. Booking.com are pressing for this to be increased. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Sadly nothing......WE WOULD HAVE LIKED AN HONEST HOST!! He advertises the following which is simply NOT THE CASE - Wi-Fi - available in all areas that is free of charge - NOT WORKING ON THE DAY OF OUR BOOKING! A Cinema Room is listed as part of the opening advert - THIS IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE and not available as you are advised on the day of arrival NOT to speak to the front desk!! Express check-in/check-out - Drive miles away to go hunt down the key from a grubby convenience store which you must also take back on checking-out or risk being charged a £200 fee!! Does he even clean the property in-between guests? Doesn't sound like it because at 8pm my family couldn't check-in!! FREE PARKING onsite - CLEARLY NOT!! Not only is there no parking, he will suggest you put your car at risk of a FIXED PENALTY NOTICE by parking in restricted areas......would he pay your fine, CLEARLY NOT!! Oh, and not forgetting you then have the luxury of lugging your bags miles to and from from the property IF you can find somewhere safe to park! This host is not only dishonest but I believe his intention is to take payment knowing full well that he is falsely advertising. In our case he is refusing engagement with Booking.com who cite that they need his engagement to resolve the situation. I am sure he will write up a response suggesting that I ignored him as that has been his stance up until now, this is simply untrue as he never contacted me directly as the booking maker - I had to get in touch with him asking for resolution, to which he defamed my character by suggesting I am a scammer!! Having liaised directly with Booking.com they were satisfied that I shared my concerns directly with them and since then he has ignored their communication. I URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS PROPERTY TO LOOK AT THE OTHER REVIEWS/ SEE THE ATTACHMENTS THAT I HAVE UPLOADED CLEARLY SHOWING THE LOCATION TO COLLECT THE KEY.

Advertised with FREE PARKING onsite. After payment I contacted the host to ensure the FREE PARKING was in place as my family were travelling a 7 hour distance. The host stated that the parking shouldn't be an issue but there was a Premier Inn 'next door' with an £8 overnight fee. This sounded odd and had I have known this before paying I would never have booked as I wanted ease for my family after a long drive. A few hours before arrival the host queried arrival time. Initially on booking I had advised this to be 3pm (the advertised check in time) but due to heavy traffic I shared that this would likely be between 5-6pm. I then received a message advising WI-FI issues at the property, asking that we do not speak with the on-site concierge and that the key to the property was not located at the 1BR address - the key would need to be collected from a convenience store some miles away from the property. My family arrived to the store to be told that they did not have the key but would contact the host. The host advised that the previous guest had not checked out and therefore they still had the key, this would be dropped off at the store. What about cleaning before next guests?! Following the key issue my family then drove around looking for the FREE PARKING and unable to park without restriction or available space they found The Premier Inn parking suggested by the host - this parking was actually a few miles away (not 'next door') and had very clear signage advising the public that this parking was ONLY for residents after 6pm risking a penalty notice should the signage be ignored. On contact with the host about this he advised my family to ignore the signage and to park there regardless- on discussion with The Premier Inn it was very clear that should my family park there their car would be at risk. Approx 8.30pm, no solution to the parking & dirty property, we had no alternative but to book elsewhere.
