NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort

very nice and comfortable stay

What can we said about this wonderful resort, except that it is Paradise. A small tropical island (100x250m) with beautiful lush vegetation. There are only 51 villas on the island, so there is a maximum of 100 people when its full. The villas are beautiful. We were in a duplex villa with a private pool overlooking the sea. The villa is extra luxurious with a huge double bed, with two bathrooms (one next to the bedroom upstairs) and the other on the ground floor with a semi-open style. There is also a small jacuzzi tub. The villa is cleaned twice a day. Lot of very quality towels. There are also two huge terraces with swings and deckchairs. AC is very good. All the staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful like almost anywhere I have met. Shan, the manager, is especially kind and available, and he was happy to fulfill our every wish and need with ease. The food is very tasty and there is something for everyone. In 6 days, it was always different. There are some pebbles and corals on the beach and in the water so I suggest water shoes. A beautiful infinity pool with a depth of 1.5 m overlooks the sea and is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Immediately there is a bar with wonderful staff. The resort has a gym, SPA and diving center. Transportation to the resort is by seaplane for about an hour because it stops at two other resorts. It was an advantage for us, because we had a wonderful panoramic flight for a long time.

Staff is very professional, they made sure we felt great, and tried to fulfill all our small requests. Cleaning service is awesome (twice a day), huge thanks to Anamul and Motur for keeping our villa tidy! They even surprised us with some real coconuts! Catering was superb too, can't recommend these guys enough. Thank you Upendra and Akbar for the delicious cocktails and dinner service.

During the rainy days, we could have used more in-house programs and activities, to keep guests occupied, a few ideas, in-door cinema, gym class with a trainer, yoga class, visiting other islands, animator-led activities, etc.
