NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort

From the moment I arrived, the resort exceeded my expectations. The staff provided impeccable service, and I want to highlight the outstanding work of Bayzid, who went above and beyond to ensure our hotel room was a comfortable haven. The level of cleanliness throughout the resort was remarkable, and the pristine condition of the pool added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. In every aspect, our experience was flawless, making it a truly perfect getaway.

Meals were very nice and plenty of choice. Water-villa was lovely and provided with a great privacy for perfect relaxation. I felt it was very practical to have an actual reef around the island to keep yourself in the safe zone when swimming. Ocean temperature was around 30 Celsius even at 6AM! Liked the fact that you could use bicycles to cycle a little on the footpaths. Staff work hard to keep the island clean and tidy. Live music was quite enjoyable and created a good atmosphere. Location was good to. Most staff members were very friendly and helpful, except for the last morning.

Decoration of the entrance of the island, requires a lot more lights; water villas need a little freshen-up/maintenance; should be a path for cycling around the island on the outskirts of the island; could use steam room and sauna; staff communication pitfalls and lack of friendliness on last day; organisational pitfalls.

everything was way expensive, communication was the main problem, they offered me floating breakfast during booking but I didn’t received it , so many things I have missed due to miss communication. i have asked them a wine glasses which I never received. i have landed male airport at 11:30am still its take 4 hours to reach resort on my second day while transferring to water villa, they told me to check out from 12pm however my water villa wasn’t ready until 4pm , wasted my four hours outside seating in hot temperatures couldn’t do everything because our luggage already picked by hotel staff for transferring. totally wasted my money for 2nd day and very horrible experience while departing the resort , they didn’t check weather conditions and send everyone for sea transfer, almost risks our life. and there were emergency and no body was there to communicate with people or to calm people..

I liked everything. And the food and the location and the peace.

the staff management still needs to strive to be excellent, especially in the bar and restaurant service.

Everything was perfect, except large maintenance work taking place on the perimeter of the island. We understand they were necessary since the breakwater were partially damaged, however it would have been nice to know it in advance

People who works there are so nice!! Very attentive to details.Everyone at the resort was wonderful and thier hospitality and kindness.Loved all of the restaurant, the food was outstanding, special thanks to the postry cheff. SHAN , AMILA & AZOO thank you for making my stay unforgettable.

We enjoyed our stay at Amaya, there were lots of great things about the resort, some of which are: - excellent staff, from the dining area, bar, spa and cleaning staff. Everyone was great at helping us out, hospitality was out of this world - The food was also absolutely great, there was hardly any day in which the food would be identical to any of the ones in the last 5-6 days. Lots of diversity each day. The desserts were especially good! - the beach suite with private pool was everything we could want; AC was working very well, the pool was cleaned daily. Three showers, two bathrooms, one small jacuzzi. Everything in the little house we had was great. - Infinity pool next to the bar, which meant we had also infinite drinks & cocktails coming one after another - Protected "lagoon", no high waves or currents; I've managed to see a stingray while snorkeling, there were also a big number of fish of various species; not as many as I've seen in other places though - Play area, gym, spa - we used those a few times over the stay; plus we also had a 30 min head massage complimentary for >7 nights stay - fishing trip, sunset ocean trip, island hopping - Small island but everything was quite spacious and good looking - Transfer by hydroplane was great, Amaya staff took care of everything for us. The plane left us somewhere at a stop in the ocean where an Amaya boat took us in. Overall we would enjoy being there again!

- Construction works happened almost every day of our 8 night's stay, as they were moving boulders at the edge of the lagoon to protect the island from waves. They had 3 bulldozers which were working from morning to late at night, but eventually it felt like in the last day there they finally finished working. Because of this, the whole inner part of the lagoon had almost no life in it, close to no living coral and fish was quite scarce. I could see fish though, just not as I was used to in other parts. Maybe when they stop with the construction works things will start getting better
