San Lameer Villa 2910 by Top Destinations Rentals

Very suitable villa for us. Clean grounds, lovely garden, very quiet... We were out of season.

The maid seemed to battle with replacing towels and bathroom mat. It didn't bother us when she took them or how often, but at least leave clean ones for the next day when she has taken the others away. Apart from that she was fine. And everything else was fine too. Thank you.

The unit was very dusty. When I enquired from the cleaner, she advised that she was unable to vacuum and clean out the dust. The unit needs to be aired out and cleaned properly

The estate had a lot of activities and even though it was busy, you still had your space for calm and peace. The estate is very well maintained and the apartment we stayed in was neat and accomodating.

The beach was not clean at all.

Facilities were excellent. The Villa was neat and clean. No issues. Enjoyed the stay

Monkeys at the San Lameer are bad. They gang up and want to attack you. I stayed at many accommodations at the South Coast and this is the worst experience with the monkeys. We were once going to the beach and the monkeys were sitting some distance from the path way leading to the beach and when they noticed us , they ganged up to attack. Luckily we were able to escape and take another route to the beach. We also witnessed another couple being attacked at the hotel while we having lunch at one of the resturants. Luckily the hotel management was able to assist. The management at San Lameer need to urgently attend to this issue with the monkeys .

Loved the environmental protection ethos of the estate. The unit was comfortable and the facilities in the estate are excellent

Top Destinations were very chaotic and difficult to deal with. I will not book through them again. They made the booking process very stressful Although the estate has an environmental protection approach they use huge amounts of single use plastic in their catering etc

It had everything that we needed for our stay.

The taps were difficult to use, they need a little attention.

The property was clean and modern. Close to the beach. Check in was fairly simple

Reception was not really welcoming or friendly. Load shedding was a nightmare. 3 times a day for 4 hours at a time. I was not aware there was no generator at the accommodation or I would not have booked this place. We could not enjoy our stay as most of the day there was no electricity and it was extremely hot. When we got back from the water park the geyser had been switched off and it was frustrating to have to wait for it to warm up again. We were told the isolator switch could have tripped but upon inspection my husband said this is not an isolator that can trip. So overall this was not a relaxing stay for us.
