2 Bedroom Lakeview Lodge - Ensuite & Balcony Deck

The location

The decking is broken was unsafe to walk on a worry if you had small children there was a few thing that I needed to clean when I got there not ideal when your on a brake but didn’t spoil the stay the bedroom nets have a big rip in would be better if taken down if can’t be replaced

Very good location. Comfortable beds and lovely views.

Could use some maintenance and due to it being a last minute booking there wasn’t any clean linen on the main bed. The linen was quickly rectified and didn’t impact on the visit.

Nice location, we did think the restaurant and other facility’s were on site, had to go across road for them, only couple a minutes away. Had a lovely meal in restaurant and prices reasonable too.

The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District: peaceful, scenic and well situated for everything we wanted to see and do. The mobile home was spotlessly clean and comfortably spacious for the four of us. The shower was larger than expected with powerful water, which made a real difference after long days of walking and sightseeing. We also appreciated how responsive and helpful the host was. We are very likely to go back and would absolutely recommend the place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient base in the Lakes.

Nice clean, spacious and quiet chalet with lovely view over one of the lakes. Plenty of space for 4 people (although as expected, the 2nd twin room was a little cramped for 2 adults). Very well appointed (although a few additions would be useful - see below). Location within holiday park meant that M6 motorway noice was minimal.

Just a few pointers for improvements. Toilet Seat in en-suite bathroom connected with double bedroom needs repairing (left hand hinger to seat broken). Provison of full size bread knife would be useful. 2 more wine glasses would be good (only 2 proper wine glasses in cupboard). A hook on back of twin room would be useful for hanging dressing gown/bag etc. Instructions on using WiFi would be helpful (we didn't use it but couldnt see any mention of the WiFI code anywhere - the password on back of Mesh box didnt seem to work). Instructions on what to do with waste would be useful (we found the red bins by playground beyond the site sales office, and eventually found the glass/bottle recycling beyond the Lakeside Restuarant in main part of the Leisure Village. A blind on the Kitchen door would help to cut out the afternoon sun (it got very hot as the sun moved round but the fridge cabinet door made a suitable blind to avoid direct sun into the kitchen area. The solar powered lights around the balcony were not working. Someone had replaced the batteries with ordinary non-rechargeable ones which of course, cant be recharged by the mini-solar panel - they have just corroded. Can these be replaced by proper rechargeable batteries ? This would make the balcony area more pleasant in the eveining.
