Pine Cabin, Strathyre. A cosy escape from it all.

Eggs, milk, honey left by Suzie which were lovely, pet friendly and huge garden with plenty bird life & sound of burn/river from bedroom... so relaxing. Great to have a log burner too.

Brilliant location with extra attention to detail . Suzy made sure everything was fine with us.

The cabin is very comfortable and cosy. It has a a wood burner and fire wood is provided by the owner, who also left us with fresh eggs and some other lovely surprises. The cabin is well situated for day trips in the area and has beautiful surroundings with a very large garden which was ideal for my dog. The cabin is close to several lochs and between munros. On walking distance from the cabin there are bars, restaurants and a coffee shop. I had some questions for the owners which I sent using booking.com and they replied immediately, they were.very attentive. I will definitely be using this cabin again when I'm in the area to climb munros.

The cabin is very cosy, the kitchen has been updated but the bathroom hasn't. It has a bath but no shower and a boiler which isn't big enough to supply warm water for 2 full baths. Whilst we were in the cabin the Wifi wasn't working, this wasn't ideal with also poor signal on our phones. However it meant we didn't watch TV or our phones and had a lovely time chatting and listening to music at night. The beds are quite small, I am 6ft3 and only fitted in the double bed diagonally and alone The cabin comes with a bunk bed and a double, allowing room for 4 but due to the size of the cabin I would only book this with 2 people or recommended it for a family with smaller children.

The cabin was perfect, well equipped. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. Logs are provided for the log burner which was great in the evening and very cosy. Lots of little extras for example. Fresh eggs, milk, jams, shortbread. There are some incredible walks and scenery locally. It's a lovely little getaway.

There are lovely big gardens for the dog, the only downside is the garden was not totally secure and led to the main road. There was a bath and not a shower but I know the hosts are changing this soon. This isn't an issue for everyone but I can't use a bath due to a knee injury, I can't get out😂

Great location! Visted the area alot when I was younger with my mum and dad! And after caring for them it was my first excursion away without my mum and dad! Delivered great memories and such a tranquil atmosphere
