Central Haven - Walk to Train Station, Beach & City Center

The host was super cute and setup the apartment with all the facilities. The apartment is really close to the train station! Great to visit Brighton and live it in the city center.

A good location for shopping groceries.

No windows for view or fresh air. Heating capacity may be small to the entire room including bath.

The hosts were brilliant, very clear instructions on how to check-in/out, and some lovely touches throughout the property and weekend – the cereals and welcome treats were both much appreciated! The apartment itself is small but not cramped, with a good range of facilities, comfortable bed and sofa, good water pressure in the shower, and a decent kitchen. More than comfortable enough for a city break or even getting some work done. Everything was very clean and in good repair, felt private, and secure. Despite being across the road from a pub, even during a busy weekend noise or nuisance from there was basically non-existent, and otherwise it's a short walk to the station and many shops, cafés, restaurants, etc.

My biggest disappointment was the lack of a self-heating power shower. It's a small apartment, so I understand the need for a mini boiler, and for washing up and general cleaning that's more than enough, heats water quickly (a full tank takes about 20 minutes), and has a good top temperature. But the shower runs through that full tank in under five minutes, so be warned if staying with more than one person or if you have other needs that make this difficult. Add an electric/power shower and that would solve this entirely. Also, whilst the bed was comfortable, if you're a light sleeper be aware that the room is noisy and can be a little bright. Internally, the boiler and fridge are close to the bed, and there were some pipe and fan noises throughout one night. The road outside is thankfully not that busy after dark, but the large front windows do mean that anything which does pass will be heard. There's also plenty of non-natural light outside, and whilst the curtains are good, some does spill around the edges. If you're used to city sleeping there shouldn't be too much to worry about, but just be aware if not.

Cosy, well kept apartment with thoughtful touches, for example- hot water bottle, sofa blanket and food items.

It would he helpful for the host to provide parking information / guidance with the property information pack before guests arrive for their stay.

Perfect size for 1 or 2 people in a great location only a short walk from the station. I didn't make use of the facilities but could easily cook a meal or 2 while there everything you needed with some breakfast items and milk included when I stayed.

If you are a light sleeper you do get some noise from.the road but that's a good tradeoff for being so close to the centre. I'm not a light sleeper so this did not bother me at all

It was comfortable and clean. I loved the little tokens for eg slippers, hot water bottle, milk on fridge very thoughtful and kind.

It was very cold especially at the front by windows so couldn't use that part as it was nearly zero degrees during my stay.

Place with its own entrance which makes it perfect and with the basics you need and the host is very polite! Definitely a 10 and when I come back I will definitely stay here
