Luxurious & Spacious 1BD Stay at The Podium - Yacht Marina Area

...Sehr schön, modern und hochwertig eingerichtet. Interieur/Materialien/Deko etc. sind farblich harmonisch aufeinander abgestimmt, dadurch ist es dort erst recht gemütlich - ergänzt durch schöne Bilder und Malta-Impressionen. Zudem gibt es einen "Willkommensgruß" - auch immer eine nette Geste. Viel Stauraum (z.B. Schlafzimmer: großer Schrank + zusätzliche Kommode, Küche: u.a. großer Kühl- und Gefrierschrank). Bequemes Bett mit Kissen-Auswahl (!), großer Fernseher, große/gemütliche Couch, zusätzlich Schreibtisch, gutes WLAN Wirklich super und außergewöhnlich: Insektenschutz an Fenstern und Balkontür ! An vielen Details erkennt man die Einstellung des Eigentümers: Für die Gäste soll es sehr schön/gut/gemütlich sein! Eingangsbereich: Hell, einladend, sauber, hochwertig, moderner Aufzug. Gute Waschmöglichkeit (sogar Waschmittel) und Trockner im EG Management: Sehr gute Organisation/Informationen/Instruktionen, freundlich und lösungsorientiert, extrem schnelle Reaktionen - auch zu Zeiten, die ich NIE erwarten würde. Eigentümer: Jederzeit sehr freundlich, offen, total hilfsbereit, flexibel (und Kommentar - siehe oben...) Nochmals vielen Dank !

Preisleistung war hervorragend. Tolle Unterkunft. Man hatte alles um sich wohl zu fühlen.

The apartment is large, luminous (faces south) and well suited for longer stays. There are separate AC units for both living and bedroom, and they work well. The fridge is large and the kitchen well equipped. The hot water comes on fast. The internet is quite decent. There is a desk with a proper office chair. There's a Lidl around the corner and several pastizzi places within a few minutes walk. Not negatives, but things you should know: 1) though it's close to some bus stations, it's by not means quick to get to places; a trip to Valletta takes 30-50 minutes. 2) like almost everywhere in Malta there's a good amount of construction going on in the area. I might not pick this place for a short stay; the area itself is not that pretty.

I didn't like that there was no deadbolt to lock the door when you're inside the apartment. I'm sure they change the codes with every new rental, but I wasn't super comfortable with not having a supplemental security mechanism. There's no peephole either, so there's no way of seeing who knocks. Most of the outlets in the apartment are UK style; there's one outlet in the bedroom that support both European and US plugs, but the rest in the house only support UK plugs (I left an adapter behind for the next travelers). I didn't use it, but the hairdrier (in the bedroom) does not have a cord long enough to reach the outlet.

апартаменты после ремонта. чисто. уютно. есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. рядом супермаркет Лидл. очень удобное расположение. в пешей доступности Валлетта и Слима. автобусные остановки рядом можно в любую точку добраться. особое спасибо за наличие в номере адаптера для электрической розетки и кофемашина Dolche Gusto (капсулы есть в Лидл). остались очень довольны проживанием. спасибо.

It had everything you would need for conviniece, spacious, well designed and spacious. Would stay again definitely!

The only minus was that construction workers were really loud from an early morning till afternoon. But I guess I just chose a bad timing for my stay.

A new, very well-equipped facility. Convenient check-in system with clear instructions. The location is very convenient, close to the Kulleg bus stop. Valletta, Saint Julian's, and Gzira are close by. A Lidl store is 300 meters away. We'll definitely use this place again on our next trip to Malta.
