Lovely Caravan With Decking At Breydon Water In Norfolk Ref 10027Rp

The caravan was in a great location to explore the local area. We stayed over Christmas and paid a visit to the Hippodrome Circus on Christmas Eve which is just brilliant. The caravan itself was spacious and well equipt. I easily cooked Christmas dinner for my family if 4 without any issues. It had everything we needed. My husband wanted me to put in that he loves the tartan chair and don't get rid of it 😂 he enjoyed a Christmas coma nap in it 😂. The bedrooms were perfect and beds were comfy. We all slept really well throughout our stay. The kids (18months and 8yrs) both loved it. The only thing to note if you have tiny tots is that alot of the furniture is glass fronted. The balcony was perfect to let the dog be outside for a bit but still secure. We didn't use it much as it was December. The site itself wasn't open but we knew this on booking and as it was Christmas was planning on staying at the van mainly anyway. We only saw 1 other person on site so it was super quiet but what we wanted for a Christmas escape. All In all we had a wonderful Christmas get away in our "Christmas house" as the kids called it.

Absolutely beautiful caravan with a perfect layout. Cosy and clean, peaceful and quiet, with everything I needed on site plus very near to beautiful walks, natural beauty and ancient ruins. Watch the sunrise from the comfort of the caravan, and watch it set 5 minutes walk into the fields.

Nothing to report (just one chair needs a bit of repair work as I had to keep pushing it together, and the main blind didn't open too easily, and it took me a while and a friendly conversation with a local to realise I needed to find my way to the 'other' site (Yare)... but now I'm nitpicking... It was all lovely!)

This was my first time staying in a caravan so I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how cosy it was, the living area was clean and bright, the bedroom was lovely with a really comfy bed & the tv was a good extra, the bathroom was clean and the bath was a nice touch. The decking area was lovely and nice to sit outside during the day. All in all it was adequate for our two night stay. We didn’t use any facilities in the park apart from grabbing a costa coffee but bear in mind there isn’t a shop on site, it’s about a 15 min walk from the site and shuts at 4pm

Bearing in mind it was my first time in a caravan I wasn’t prepared to have to bring everything but the kitchen sink, I did expect there to be some washing up liquid and a sponge to wash up at least but no but again that’s my inexperience ! The carpet in the lounge needs a good clean and the chair really needs throwing out as it was repaired with a piece of wood underneath but still felt unstable. Apart from those little things it was fine.

On entering you could see that the decking was in need of a very good clean! Key box needs replacing also parts of the decking seemed unsafe! The pillows in the property were covered in stains and hairs! I rang housekeeping and they did bring new ones (Not the point though) Also I asked when the van was last cleaned as it was very dusty spiders and dust everywhere! They told me it was the owner’s!!! So I then clean from top to bottom I didn’t go on holiday to clean! There is a leak under kitchen sink that stank, also there is only a broom to sweep carpet with no hover or carpet sweeper! The chair that’s pictured is broken! The beds are uncomfortable could feel the springs in the double bed! Also seemed very damp in the van wouldn’t stay again.

Was like home from home everything you could possibly need was available at this caravan

Unfortunately the tartan chair was broken could see it had been repaired at some point that is the only negative comment about this caravan it was lovely in ever other way
