HKIdeal for snorkeling holiday. Its proximity to the jetty gives you quick access. Also, the big windows allowed lots of sunshine to come in and dry our towels and swimwear. Comfy bed and good towels provided. Airconditioning worked great. The view was pretty cool- at sunrise we could see the tip of Mount Kinabalu, before it got swallowed by the clouds again. Such a lovely surprise! The independent check in system- demands some concentration from you, but is actually very convenient for midnight and other odd flight arrival times.
The lobby of the building is a bit stuffy, so are the lifts, as there is no AC there. We couldn't get the geyser to work for a hot shower, but host offered immediate assistance.
MYThe apartment is okay overall. Jesselton Quay is in a good location because close to the new jetty and walking distance to Gaya Street. The sunset view is really nice since it faces Pulau Gaya. Price is affordable, and having a water dispenser is a plus. The best part is definitely the host. Even before I arrived in Kota Kinabalu, the host was already responsive and willing to help with my requests. Fast reply and very helpful throughout my stay.
But cleanliness needs to be improved. When I checked in, there was a smell coming from the bathroom. I asked for a gel freshener and the host arranged it quickly, but it felt a bit off when the staff said they couldnโt smell anything because I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself and sweeping the floor because it was quite dusty. Also, the photos didnโt really match the room I got. It would be better to use the exact room photos or at least mention that the room may vary based on availability to avoid confusion.

1. Parking is available but not free park . Enter fee is RM3 to 4 ..overnight stay fee is RM15 But its okay .i still think this is the best home to stay ๐๐

MY-Spacious -Aircond works properly -alot of cafe and restaurants at the ground floor -clean room -had a place to cook and even had a water dispenser also water heater, hairdryer and streka -great city view at night
Everything is okay! BUT for anyone that wanted to stay here please take note that around 10 to 11 am the elevator will be packed like there would be stop's on every floor so if you don't want to wait half an hour i heavily suggest check out a bit early so everything is okay except the elevator
