The location of the Apartments.

That the Security scaremonged me into not any circumstances to go near the Office on Site. Only hand my Keys back to Security the day i leave. Office on site is for any enquiries. Why i was told NOT to go near. Also when i went to sit outside on the chair to smoke. I felt a pinch in back of my thigh, because Both Chairs had a Split along the middle B Broken things in my room. Believe me to maybe think the Person i rented from gave cash to with no Receipt given was mayve Subletting the property. For what other reason was i Blasted by Security not to go near the Office on Site. Its an agreement between me and Whom i rented from. I did not feel comfortable with being told that But did as they asked.

The way the host was speaking to us and not being respectful nor understanding 🙃

Absolutely nothing. Janice was Absolutely horrible. She was very helpful before the money was paid but literally after the ash was handed over to the security guard at the gate as she instructed un order to get the apartment key. Upon entering the apartment/room and was extremely shocked, disgusted and appalled we tried calling Janice and she never answered. We called a fee times. The balcony or patio to our room was shared by the other guests in the adjoining room and were enjoying themselves as they should however I was unable to sleep with the loud laughing and talking. It sounded like they all were in my ear yelling their words. The room was Absolutely trash, outdated appliances, furniture and linens. After all that I finally decided to make the best if it and found bugs under the covers as I pulled it back to lay down. Omg!!! That was it for me!!! I got fully dressed and slept on top of the covers with my entire head of hair covered as nit to have any other insects getting caught up🤢 Please note that this property and Mystic Ridge is the same owners. Save yourself the headache and possibility of catching something by staying here and dont!!!!

Janice just needs to burn that room completely. Extremely horrible experience 😪

this was the worst apartment/condo. I have ever stayed at in Jamaica. I have stayed in this community before that is why I booked that specific location but there were a lot of things wrong with that apartment. Let’s start off by saying Janice tried to rob me the cost of my stay was US$117 because Janice noticed I was an American. She tried to overcharge me with cash. She was unaware that I was with another Jamaican. Janice told me the total in Jamaican dollars. I then asked Janice what was the charge in US dollars, Janice basically tried to have me pay almost $200. Janice told me that in Jamaican dollars it would be $26,800 but that does not equal out US$117. Then when my husband corrected her, she act as if she was oblivious to it, she did not know that I was with a Jamaican next, the unit has a very old AC unit in the bedroom. It does not work. I called Janice and told her that same night that I got there that the AC is blowing hot air. She asked me what the temperature was on, I told her, and then she instructed me how to fix it it did not work, therefore my husband and I had to sleep on the couch together because the AC in the room was blowing out, dusty air, and was making us cough and sneeze. Furthermore, I believe that booking.com needs to adjust the check in time for this unit because on Booking.com it says check-in time is 2 PM. I call Janice and she said it is not at 2 PM and that it is a mistake. It is at 3 PM when I got there at that time, I called her, and then she told me that I had to wait another 20 minutes to check in because she had to find out information about my reservation, that was before she tried to rob me. The unit is very uncomfortable, it’s very old and I would never recommend anyone to stay there especially if you’re an American.

The building is unique, you can see the ocean view from your balcony.

some amenities are not good condition like air conditioner is old and it’s not running good on the first day we came. The fan have a broken cables. We called the owner and she brought a Tehnician to repair it. The are some ants and some cockroaches in the floor too.
