It would of been good if there had been a living area/lounge with a table and chairs for eating

Breakfast was excellant, location is brilliant

The only moan was that it was a cold windy weekend and the heating wasn't that good. If it had been then it would have taken our score up

Fabulous location. Friendly staff. Beautiful presented rooms. Comfy beds, pillows and bedding. Nice and warm. Lovely meal in the bar.

Would be nice to have one of the rooms turned into a lounge area. Kitchen area very small but OK for the four of us. Just had a coffee and toast.

The location, cleanliness and comfortable beds and that is it I'm afraid.

We had a most horrendous time staying at the rooms. Let’s start with the more minor things. We couldn’t understand why there were lovely robes in each room. Yet the tea, coffee and sugar were empty and there were no toiletries in the bathrooms (we just expected at a 4 star property there would be at least shower gel). We had to go into town and buy shower gel. Also it was such a shame there wasn’t a living room. Surely one of the bedrooms would be better as a living room so groups staying can congregate somewhere. We all had to cram into the tiny kitchen to have a chat. The kitchen was poorly equipped, plastic glasses. Now onto the major issue. We were not made aware that there was a function room directly below the apartment. We were on a work trip and when we arrived back at 10pm to go to bed we were greeted by thumping music, karaoke and DJ. We had to be up at 5.45 for a Christmas event. It was impossible to sleep. I spoke to a member of staff and they went to speak with the DJ who said he’d only just started the karaoke and it would probably be midnight before it was quiet. In the family room it was so loud everything was vibrating. Even the coat hangers. All the other rooms were also badly affected. Then after the midnight supposed quiet we then had to listen to very drunk people shouting singing arguing and all the rest outside the pub. The single glazed windows meant we heard every word like they were in the room with us. Likewise every car, every siren every puddle driven through kept us awake. None of us slept a wink and we were all absolutely shattered on a day we should have been well rested and up for the challenge. We would never have booked this accommodation if we had known about the function room so feel very tricked, upset and disappointed. The management responded with a limp apology and then ignored my email which included a video taken in the room demonstrating the horrendous noise.

Very spacious, large rooms, very clean located above a pub serving really good food. Walking distance into main centre.

Wonderful comfy clean and well appointed rooms, kitchen area with boiling water tap, 3 bathrooms. Quiet and well located for the town.

everything from start to finish it was fabulous made to feel very welcome lots of space for us all it was spotless and very comfy the Sunday lunch was outstanding we would love to visit again
