2BR Family Apartment near Waterfront

Close to a lot of activities around Cape Town, very clean and spacious. We were doing self catering so it would have been much better if they had bought a new frying pan, that one was a bit old

We struggled on the first day to get the key it was just a mess and the house doesn’t have a broom and a mop as we had stayed there for like a whole week and we needed to clean

1) No parking when you arrive to collect the keys!!! You have to park unlawfully in the street! 2) The bedside light doesn't work. I read about it in a review, but it hasn't been fixed yet. Main bedroom. 3) The wardrobe doors don't close because 2 hinges are broken - main bedroom. 4) There's no hairdryer. 5) There's no way you can do your hair while looking in a mirror. Please provide leads. 6) Trash cans are also needed in the bathrooms and rooms - there are only in the toilets. 7) Scatter pillows in the second bedroom and lounge are dirty. 8) The footrest of one of the barstools are broken. 9) Drawer handle of cabinet in lounge (underneath the TV) is broken. 10) No DSTV - that would've been a great plus point to watch rugby or news.

Lack of clear instructions, no communication or assistance when required. Also the apartment address/location and unit number was wrong The apartment was 333D @ Harbour Bridge Hotel & Suites not 33C & 1 Anchor way as advertised. That caused unnecessary inconvenience. The property owner never responds to queries and only 1 access card was issued, I requested 2

Our entire stay was very disappointing. What should be 4 star accommodation and paid for 4 star accommodation was actually 2/3 stars. We feel short changed and would not recommend this place to others. 1. With the close proximity to the dock yard, one would expect double glazed windows to dampen the noise. We couldn't sleep as the noise continued throughout the night. 2. The furniture and figures are old and needs updating. 3. The utensils and iron, ironing board, oven microwave all are in a very poor state. 4. The property management company Soughted only provides automated responses, which is highly frustrating and results in an overall poor customer experience.

We could not gain access and had to phone for someone to come and assist us. Keycard not in the lockbox so only gained access at 6pm. Inside, lounge air conditioner didn’t work and the ones in the two bedrooms were pretty much useless. Lights don’t work and cupboard doors falling off. Hidden charges cleaning fee very inflated to hide additional fees.
