2BR Family Apartment near Waterfront

There was no breakfast for us.

The manner in which we collected the keys was actually a coincidence as we were just asking everyone around including the staff at the receiption. The lady was on her way out when we asked her where to collect the keys and she had the keys with her. The place was not cleaned even once throughout our stay. The bedding was not changed. The washing machine was not operational no water. The TV in the bedroom was not connected. The lady promised to bring the batteries for the air conditioner remote, but never returned. It was unpleasant to stay at this accommodation. We asked around for help but no one could help even when we sent messages through booking.com no response was received. We had to pay an additional fee (R965.00) for cleaning as part of the booking but no cleaning was done. We would like a refund of the amount we paid.

Great location, clean apartment with good views, convenient restaurant/cafe at ground floor, responsive host. Thank you. Overall a great place to stay!

Just note the apartment we stayed in was under airbnb and cannot accommodate luggage storage in the hotel. Also one of the bedroom has ensuite bath/toilet but no shower. Quite difficult to find - one of my guests was lost even with GPS instructions. Overall a great place to stay - I would recommend it!

Location and the view

1.Drain was blocked for shower 2.Cleaning was not done 3.Towels were not provided they said you use the one which is in the house till you leave 4When you communicate with them they are very rude &disrepectful 5.They apologised 1st day for not cleaning but repeated it the following day ,saying R1000 charged is forcleaning when I departed

Cleanliness very poor/ Needs a second shower in the bath.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Good location

The bedroom main lights did not work. Nor did the hairdryer

The location is great. The home is comfortable. Having a washer and dryer is great for people who do road trips. Security was very good. There are enough cups, plates and glasses.

There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms or kitchen ( there was a small bottle of body wash/shower gel). You need a dishcloth to wipe kitchen surfaces. A few additional kitchen items would be helpful. e.g glass / casserole dishes, a corkscrew. The non-stick frying pan needs to be replaced and was dirty when we arrived ( we didn’t use it and got our own) When the wind blows the apartment will literally whistle at you, because the sliding doors don’t seal properly and there is a large gap under the front door.
