The Steps Holiday Let PHOCLE GREEN ROSS-ON-WYE HR9 7TW

The property was spotlessly clean and well designed as a holiday let. The owners were very nice and helpful. The property had private parking behind a gate and the area round the property was fenced which was good for a dog or children. There was a convenient charging point for an electric car. There was a public footpath just across the road with fields and lovely old trees.

When I got lost on arrival the contact person gave me the wrong directions so I ended up driving round for over an hour. It turned out when I phoned them I was 30 meters from the property. It would have been nice to have the radiators turned on before I arrived and to know that dogs were not allowed on the sofa or in the bedroom. The duvet was a little coarse for my liking but I am quite particular and should have bought my own. So others get the right directions head from Gloucester to Ross on Wye on the B4221. The property is on the left just before a lay-by with a yellow bin.

The property was amazing. Clean and had everything we needed. Loved spending the New Years Eve in the peaceful location.

The sand on the driveway got everywhere, especially as it was damp and stuck to our footwear.

We loved how there was everything needed for the perfect self catering stay. The place is spotless and the views absolutely incredible!!

The only thing I would say is that myself and my partner are over 6ft and therefore the sofa wasn’t really big enough for us.

Decor and kitchen and bedroom nice.

Very private and peaceful, spotlessly clean and well equipped to a high standard, great to have private parking right outside the door.

Very small point: could do with a blind on the small window in bedroom as was very light in mornings

The location was fine,once found,near the bus stop,would be the most usefull identifier’s

I could have paid nearly twice as much to stay in the grotty Premier Inn up the road, so this place was a real find. It was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. On the edge of Ross, but very private and quiet. It even had Sky! The bed was insanely comfortable and the shower was excellent. The Electric vehicle charger was a real bonus. Danii went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and this was much appreciated. A brilliant find.
