I can hardly think of anything that was not ideal. The reception was extremely warm and caring. Erika, our host, thought about everything we could need and was always there to help. The room was very clean and charming. The terrace is a big plus. The location speaks for itself since it is in the heart of Cinque Terre. Highly recommended!

The room is spacious, well located, recent and perfectly clean. It benefits from a really nice terace. The landlord and her father have been really nice and helpful to help us bring our luggage to the building (most of the village is not accessible by car and a large area is reserved to resident's cars). They also provided us with precious informations about the trains schedules, hiking trails and restrictions because of bad weather conditions, they always answered quickly to any of our questions. We highly recommend a stay in Sotto Sale if you want to take a few days to discover the Cinque Terre national Park :) Also if you come there by car be advised, chances are you won t be able to park in a free spot and local parkings are really expensive (35€/day) so we recommend to use the parking spot proposed in addition to the room for 15€/day, which is far more advantageous. Wow!! Erika and her family went above and beyond in ensuring that I enjoyed my stay. I highly highly recommend this location, their hospitality is so caring and kind. They made me feel like a part of the family and taken care of. In addition, the terrace was one of my fav aspects of the stay in addition to the sustainable bath products. They smelled great!! If I can travel to Cinque terre every year, there is no doubt I would stay here every time. I traveled for Italy this entire month and my stay at Cinque Terre is my favorite experience because of my stay here. Grazie mille!!

N/A - truly it was an amazing stay. If I had to dig deep and choose one, which really isn't in their control: at first I was discouraged by the stairs (no elevator) but I quickly learned that this is very very very normal in the area. The main road and basically all hotels and apartments require stairs, elevators are rare here. Also, Erika's father carried my extra large luggage up the stairs. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Which was great because I was a single female traveler with multiple large and heavy bags. Thank you so much again!!

Aldo (Erika’s father) was absolutely charming and lovely - met us at the station and helped us with our luggage. Gave us a tour of the apartment. Excellent location (it is uphill so be prepared!) Nice touch having some drinks and snacks left for us. Terrace was lovely. Very clean

The only thing that could make the apartment better would be a mirror in the bedroom (the bathroom door is reflective but isn’t bright!)

Erika and her father went beyond what they needed to provide. Erika messaged the night before arrival and said she and her father would meet us at the train station to help us get to the property and help with luggage to the room. While we we now realize we are out of shape and we're prepared for the hillside street of the village or the steps up to our room, we loved the location, we loved the family and would highly recommend if your looking for an authentic, helpful, tight knit family and a beautiful stay. ALSO, leaving we were a little worried about getting down the stairs and to the train station with our luggage. BUT again Erika messaged the night before and told us her father would be there to help…. he was, with a smile and a lovely chat and walked us and our large case to the train station. KUDOS for doing it well and thoughtful!! Thank you very much Ericka and father, the thoughtfulness was more than appreciated! David & Dot

It was exactly as described and the extra touch of personal was so appreciated. The weather could have been better but it was just a fun experience and exhausting one!
