Someone had put hamburger meat in the trash can outside and it smelled and caused a million flies.

The unit was very clean and decorated nicely. Our host was very accommodating and responded to our questions quickly.

The bed has to be one of the most uncomfortable ones that we have ever slept on. There was no top sheet or blanket only the fitted sheet covering a plastic mattress cover and a comforter. Had there been a mattress pad, it would have made a difference on the bed. I understand the reasons for the plastic mattress cover,however there are ways to make it more comfortable. Also, the parking situation was kind of ludicrous. The driveway would accommodate 2 cars and the person in the other half of the building was not there the majority of the time when we were there. At one point, a pickup truck had to back up and go the other way because the people across the street parked in the road directly across from us and there was not room for the truck to get through. Neither of these issues were life threatening but annoying. Suggestions that might make the next persons stay even better.

It reminded me of home and I was able to have peace and quiet. Everything was easy to get to in walking distance because I didn't have a car.

There should be a better designated smoking area for guest who states that at the start of the booking process.
