We chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location near the beach, which is indeed beautiful. However, despite this advantage, the overall experience was unfortunately disappointing. One of the main issues was a “no seafood in rooms” policy, which was not communicated at any point prior to arrival—neither in confirmation emails nor within the app. Had this been made clear in advance, we would have planned our activities differently. Unexpected restrictions introduced on arrival can be quite disruptive to guests’ plans. More concerning, however, was how this situation was handled. The communication we received was abrupt and lacking in basic courtesy, with no attempt to explain or assist. We were simply told, “No, we don’t allow,” without any form of polite engagement. As a result, my husband had to return from another car park (where he was charging our electric vehicle), pay for parking again, and come back to resolve the situation. During this time, I was closely observed and followed around the premises, including into the car park, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. A more professional and guest-oriented approach might have included: a clear and polite explanation of the policy outlining any potential cleaning charges or offering practical alternatives Unfortunately, none of these were provided, and the overall interaction left us feeling unwelcome rather than supported as guests. In addition, upon arrival I was left to locate our room with minimal directions (“Room 2” without floor indication or clear signage), while carrying multiple heavy bags alone. Despite staff being present, no assistance or guidance was offered, which was disappointing.
