Plenty of room in the apartment for two people

Not well cleaned, cobwebs everywhere, furniture very tired, basics like loo roll not supplied without asking, poorly equipped, property very scruffy, rubbish outside and no usable outdoor seating areas, website photos misleading

Location was good. Near to fairly busy road but we knew this when booking . We had eaten at Woogies restaurant many times when staying with family and expected the same high standards and good customer service.

Entrance to property uninviting. Rubbish and scaffold poles in our patio area. Had to avoid hanging electrical wires to go in. One gate couldn’t be secured so it banged in wind all night. Initially looked clean. Sheet over sofa bed hiding dubious stains. Sliding door to toilet not secured and didn’t allow privacy. Blinds at every window but unfortunately by the bed there was a large gap. Left feeling exposed as we stayed in the downstairs room. No toilet paper, hand towel or bathroom mat . Large free standing mirror, with no security to keep in one place. Electric socket by bed very loose and coming away from wall. Poor quality bed linen. Lots of visible dust and dirt on floor. We were supposed to stay two nights but only stayed one night. My husband tried to discuss concerns with staff but unfortunately she wasnt interested . Have messaged the host but had no response at all. Awful customer service and communication.

We attended a wedding in the area so for our purpose it was great. Lovely spacious flat. Communication with the owner was really good, we needed a taxi to get to and from our venue and she helped me to organise one. The flat is above a really nice pub which we visited, the staff were really friendly. We didn’t eat there but the smells coming from the kitchen were delicious.

The rooms were clean but the windows had quite a lot of cobwebs in them. The shower cubicle could do with some attention grout and shower seals were a bit mouldy. We only stayed the one night so didn’t think about taking tea or coffee with us it might be a nice idea to have just a few sachets available.

Excellent location. A great space and well appointment.

Next to a very busy road and attached to a popular village pub - lights and noise ++ with a sound system over the bank holiday. Suggest double glazing and a dishwasher. A good fit for an overnight stay or two days in the week.

It was very cozy, spotless, and absolutely worth the money. Everything we needed was provided, which made it feel just like home — especially with the kids. We really enjoyed our stay! 🏡✨
