Lovely apartment in quiet area, close to town and the river walks. The flat had everything we needed; and was comfortable and clean. The instructions for the place were great. Thank you!

I would have liked a firmer bed, but appreciate different people are opposite; but otherwise it was good.

Towels and bed linen were clean.

The pictures showed a staircase so I didn't realise it was ground floor. It's on a main road opppsite a pub. Whole place felt very grubby, needs a thorough clean and repainting throughout, there was a strong damp and musty smell. It felt unsafe as the windows (bedroom opens out to the main road and the back which is kithen/diner opens out to the car park) open as a low swing so anyone could easily climb through. No fans were provided. The front door is cheap with basic key lock. Poor / no sound-proofing; I was kept up at night from the couple in the apartment above re: being intimate. Teaspoons were heavily stained and need replacing. I had booked for 2 nights but left the morning after the first night; I have been coming up to York for almost 2 years now for work and never left before the end of my booking. York is saturated in holiday lets and there are far better ones at the same price.

"Lovely stay and amazing location."

Directions to the property were spot on, key collection was easy and having a parking permit was an added bonus. Apartment was lovely great location. Jelle was easy to contact if we needed anything and checked on us during our stay. We would definitely recommend this apartment. We were lucky enough to be able to stay an extra night too.

The WiFi was a little temperamental but this didn't impact on our stay as we were out and about alot.
