Rubillion Hotel - 5-Min Walking to Back Beach

A very cozy accomodation close to the seaside. Always has hot water in it, the neighbourhood is quiet at night. Many cafes and shops around. They offer an electric kettle and a fan, you can find cups or dishes on the ground floor if needed. We had a wonderful stay.

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

There were guests partying after midnight .I couldn't sleep because I could hear them, ,but the guy at the front desk was kind enough to apologize... The noise eventually stopped.

I had a fantastic stay at Rubillion Hotel! The price for a weekday night was incredibly affordable, offering great value for money. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The beds were exceptionally soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the hotel's flexibility with early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, which made my trip even more convenient. The location was perfect—right in the heart of everything, with Highland Coffee just across the street and multiple convenience stores nearby. While my stay at Rubillion Hotel was enjoyable, there were a few drawbacks. The room size felt slightly smaller than the advertised 30 m², which was a bit disappointing. The air conditioning unit in our room was quite noisy, producing a heavy rain-like sound throughout the night. There was no proper wardrobe—just a drying pole with a few hangers, which wasn’t very convenient. The lack of electric sockets was also an issue; our room had only one, and one of the slots was already occupied by the phone. Additionally, the room was not soundproof, so we could hear noise and conversations from the hallway. The basement parking area was dark, flooded, and slippery, making it difficult to navigate—I almost fell off my bike while going down. Another inconvenience was the lighting; there was no dedicated sleeping light, just four bright bulbs controlled by a single switch, forcing us to leave the curtain open for some dim light at night. The staff were so friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning and a tea kettle and hair dryer. The hotel doesn't rent bicycles, but there was a shop about 15 minutes walking distance, which made getting around easy. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby too and Back Beach isn't a far walk either. Also, the hotel was flexible and allowed early check. It was easy to arrange late check out by paying extra.

The refrigerator in the room was not very cold on the inside. There was sand in the sink in the bathroom and the cup in the bathroom was wet on the inside, so I wasn't confident about the cleanliness of the room, even though it looked really clean to me.

Great location!!

The bathrooms are a bit pokey. Not set out well. Perhaps a sliding door needed.
