Location was ideal

Only one bathroom between 8 people isn’t enough

The house was clean, easy to access with the key lock. Location was good for the harbour and shops of Whitehaven Wetherspoons is close for food and the staff were lovely..

The house is very tired. There was large patches of flaking paint through out the house and damp spots in the bedroom. The bathroom is on the very top floor which wasn't ideal with young children. £150 deposit was also asked for on top of the booking fee (which I had paid in full). It was returned within a few days of out trip, but it was a hidden cost I wasn't aware of until I had booked. Car parking is a nightmare in whitehaven. It was suggested that we park in the carpark opposite the house. This has a limit of 4 hours and cost £5. However we did discover that if you drive through the carpark into what looks like a yard, you can park there for 24hours for £6. Would have been good to know this before we arrived. There is very, very limited street parking as suggested for between the hours of 6pm - 8pm. TV had no arial, thankfully we have our own login details for a streaming service and were able to use that for the kids. Garden was unkept and the ashtray at the back door had not been emptied. The secure cupboard wasn't very secure upstairs. Downstairs there was a door to the basement. Would have been good if it had a lock on it. Not a huge amount to do in whitehaven, especially if the weather is poor. We took a trip to keswick which was lovely.

Unbearably hot, only 1 bathroom which wasn’t very clean Expensive

Managment were fab and sorted our issues promptly

It was abit damp and dated , the gardem could have been better maintained
