Floating Experience - Casa flutuante a 25 min do Porto

This is really a floating experience:-) seeing the brick wharf going up and down with the tide about 2m or more. Further all the sounds/burble of the water and feeling the movement of the boat with the waves, while lying in the cosy bed. Also listening to the slapping sound of the mullets jumping out of the water. Miguel, our host, is really a very kind person. He answered very quick and offered us his assistance in case of need on our Caminho. Further he described how to reach the boat very detailed and it was easy to reach with the instructions. Finally, we could check in earlier, which was nice due to the rain. Therefore, we can highly recommend to stay on Miguel's Casa Flutante!

Superb host

Fantastic houseboat. Go and stay for great experience just don't expect it to be big and luxurious - it's a houseboat! One goes to Povoa for the sea and I couldn't imagine a place to stay there which I would like better.

Met our host, very friendly and helpful. Great casual seafood restaurant minutes away. We were able to take a nice quiet walk in to town (mostly along the town waterfront) a nice scenic 20 minute walk to a neighborhood nice market for food and drink. The Pier / Dock area could only be accessed via coded entry gate so very glad no unknown foot traffic. Very quiet area after dark and felt safe. Would stay again for sure! (Our stay was off season in March)

Was a bit unsure about Parking nearby but well lighted and no problems.

Indeed a very nice and unique experience to be on the houseboat and to enjoy the sunset over the marina from the terrace. The host Miguel was very kind and gave us good recommondations for restaurants etc. We were very happy to stay there. The town can be reached by metro from Porto city and Porto airport, so you do not need a car. But parking was availble directly at the marina.

It was very unique and pleasant experience. The views if better weather would be nice and scenic. Lovely green velvet plush sofa to relax on, good size for more than 2 people.

What an amazing experience! Starting from the friendly and accommodative staff, Miguel and Aline. To how the property is decorated. Definitely will be recommending it to my friends!

My stay at the floating home was absolutely incredible. The place is tiny and fully equipped for a perfect weekend escape. I didn't expect comfort and was surprised that it could be such an enjoyable stay.
