Floating Experience - Casa flutuante a 25 min do Porto

Very nice and clean place. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge which we enjoyed. The marina is a short walk from town. Miguel was a very friendly host.

It floated my boat! Class! Great fun! Miguel gave us great advice about restaurants and things to do in the area - he was very helpful.

I truly enjoyed the floating experience. The place is lovely and waking up to the sunrise is a real treat. The place was tidy and clean and the host always available to help. Just make sure you to check the weather if you tend to be seasick, because it can get bouncy. Thank you Miguel for the experience!

A pleasant view when the weather is nice. And there are only two of you.

I strongly advise against spending the night here in rainy and/or windy weather, or when the temperature is low at night (yep, I know that the booking is non-refundable and the owner is not ready to make concessions). In windy weather, instead of lulling rocking, the wind beats the boat against the holding ropes. And in rainy weather, drops hit the roof of the boat quite loudly, and condensation flows along the metal frame of the boat, which also transmits the ambient temperature well (electric heating does not save from this). The blankets barely cover two young people - it's extremely difficult for four to cover themselves with two small blankets. And the toilet, as has already been noted by other guests, is very noisy and requires some skills (since the pump is manual).

Very cold! The heater doesn’t warm up enough. I spent the night holding the hairdryer.
