Location, general tidiness, served the purpose well. It was safe.the Host was absolutely fantastic, he went out his way to ensure we were taken care of and felt safe.

Place didnt have certain items like hairdryer, portable clothes line. The couch needs serious cleaning, it smelled bad and we had to cover it in sheets.

It felt like home but near the beach 😂

Advertisement is misleading the staff don’t tell you that you need to pay a deposit until after you’ve booked than they spam you after that telling you that you need to pay a R2000 damage deposit otherwise you won’t be able to check in. Secondly the pictures show a Braai stand yet they don’t tell you that you need to book a spot to be able to braai you can only braai during those allocated slots

The location and the property manager is quite a nice, a reasonable person. However, the property agents are horrible

Firstly you only discover that you have to pay a refundable deposit of 45% of the value after the booking confirmation. Usually before you pay, the deposit, like cleaning fees, will be there, next to the amount of the booking fee, before you make payment, not hidden in the terms and conditions. That deposit is only refundable from 7 to 14 days after check out. After checking out, I was sent a text that a towel was missing and they had attached an invoice of M425, saying they are going to deduct it from my deposit. Mind you, when you check in, there's no inventory inspection and sign offs, even after check out, they only do that after you leave. When I reported this theft accusation to the manager, the manager said he will ask the laundry team to check thoroughly because he believed that I could never steal a towel. I was beyond disappointed that I had been accused of stealing. A towel for that matter! The agency staff is very rude and unprofessional. They handled the whole matter unprofessionally. It's unfortunate that while some of the staff are professional, the ones that handled the matter initially left a bitter taste in my mouth. A day later, I was told that they found the towel they had claimed was missing. Which was not surprising.... Lets see how long it will take for me to get my deposit back.... The check in process is very cumbersome. You have to share all guests' full names with ID copies attached, their cell numbers and car registration numbers prior to check in...Its like checking in at a hotel. Even hotels only take details of the person who has made the booking, not the person you are sharing the room with.
