Hôtel du Lion d'Or

Our bedroom was in the next street to the hotel reception! Only average breakfast at best!

The property was great! The staff and facilities were perfect for us!

Pleasant staff, rooms very nice, near shops, and train station.

Stairs would be difficult for disabled guests.

Comfortable hotel about 4 km north of the Canal des Deux Mers long-distance cycle route in the centre of Marmande. Secure garage storage for bikes overnight. The room provided was situated in a side street annex about 20 metres from the main hotel and decorated in a modern style. The buffet breakfast had a hot choice. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Nothing to dislike.

Location was very central to the town

Coffee making machine but no coffee.

It’s a lovely hotel - very well located and comfy sleep.

We had an unfortunate incident with a toilet leaking (and causing the room to smell strongly of sewage) but then the head of the hotel changed us to a better room (after some initial reticence to do so). The toilet issue was most likely just a bout of bad luck.

Clean, tidy, big room,..I arrived late and the chap on reception was the best, he couldn’t have been more helpful 5*
