Mon séjour dans cette petite guest house a été une particulièrement belle expérience : la maison, traditionnelle, et la chambre étaient charmantes, le quartier, très facilement accessible de la gare centrale, très mignon et authentique. Enfin, la propriétaire et le personnel sont très attentifs, et j’ai beaucoup aimé ce côté familial et personnel, qui change des gros hôtels. Et puis le petit déjeuner était délicieux !

朝食が可愛くて美味しかった。 言葉の壁があったが、スタッフさんが一生懸命伝えようとしてくれてるのが伝わった。 お部屋も水回りも綺麗に清掃されていて気持ちよかった。 メールの返信はスムーズだった。

滞在中日本語対応できる方が不在で、チェックインに時間がかかった。不在については事前に連絡があり、チェックインも電話で対応いただけるとのことだったが、タイミングが合わず電話がつながらない。 後からかかってきたが、セーフティボックスの有無でやり取りに時間がかかったこと（これは私も確認不足だった）や、朝食の時間が8-10時と想定より遅く翌日のスケジュールに合わず1日分キャンセルになったこと（宿泊費はかわらない）、ランドリーは自由に使えるのではなく1回500円で依頼する必要があること、など…そこを見て選んだポイントが条件付きだったのは、当日ではなく事前に説明がほしかった。 1日歩き回ったあと遅い夕飯に友達を待たせていたのもあり、こちらも気持ちが焦りどっと疲れてしまった。 初めての土地でゲストハウスに慣れていない者からすると不便を感じたので、コミュ力おばけでない限り英語に自信がない方にはおすすめしない。

B&B Hachi was a charming place to stay! Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were super friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the company of other fellow travelers. The yoga classes early in the morning was a bonus. The neighbourhood was peaceful with lots of small restaurants to choose from.

The walls are a bit thin, but as long as you’re mindful it’s not really a problem. We slept well.
