The cabin was beautiful. Very clean and beds were comfortable. The cabin was close to the woodland walk, which was lovely, and close to the marina. We had. Fantastic views, but unless it was hidden well, was a little disappointing to find that there was no microwave, as taking 2 small grandchildren away this would have been very welcome. The only other pitfall was the use of the Park Dean facilities. We were only visiting for 3 nights and with all the other activities around Windermere, we were only going to use the pool once; however, Park Dean charge £13.50 per person, for family of 4, this is a lot of money for an hour or so in the pool. Park Dean did advise that the cost covered you for the duration of your holiday, which had we been staying for the week or more, or if we had known this before we arrived, we could have purchased the pass as soon as we got there and taken advantage of the pass. Instead, as we had no intention of spending £54.0 for an hour, and as we had promised the children (ages 3 and 6) that we were going swimming, we travelled half an hour to get to another pool. Don't let this put you off staying in this cabin, but just wish I knew what I know now before we booked, at least so we could plan accordingly.

Excellent location, very clean and well equipped.

It was a tad bit hard to find initially. A map with the instructions would definitely help !
