View of the lake. Quiet location.

En-suite bathroom shower cubicles needed more thorough cleaning. No toilet paper when we checked in but was delivered later. Host not willing to provide one extra toilet roll. Wardrobe in master bedroom used as storage. Only one hanger provided.

Amazing views from the property. Very comfortable and clean with all the amenities available. Best if you are driving as the holiday home is quite a distance from the town but there is a bus stop just outside the gates.

The lodge was in a gorgeous location and very well equipped. Clean and tidy and no issues during our stay. The park itself is quiet but we spent the weekend exploring Ambleside and Bowness so this was just what we needed. We’ve already booked to return for my partner and our sons birthday in July 😊

The location was fab at the end of the road close to the woodland walk with a lovely view of the lake. Home from home with quality furnishings and bedding. Felt cosy and extremely well looked after. There was just me and my husband so we had a bathroom each - winner!! Super dog friendly too, bowls, treats and even poo bags.

The couch was a little uncomfortable but we had plenty throws and cushions to use. Would have benefitted from a coffee table.
