Tally Ho!

The location was perfect for my visit to friends locally.

As I stayed 4 nights I expected my room to be serviced each day or at least every other day but it wasn't touched throughout my visit. I was impressed to find a cafetiere in my room, expecting it to be replaced clean each day but it was not - trying to wash it in the bathroom and dispose of the grounds in my room bin wasn't practical so I didn't use it again. I had to ask for teabags/milk etc. as they were not replenished over the 4/5 days. The concertina shower door did not close properly, therefore reducing the space in the shower!

This is a very good local pub with friendly staff good food and clean rooms

Decent place for a short stay.

We booked a room with a breakfast included, when asked about it on arrival we were told there's no breakfast as it had to be pre-booked.

Nice old pub in centre of picturesque market town. Comfortable room, slept well and very good freshly cooked breakfast. Thank you.

The food was brilliant, great variety of food and great beer! Recommend the local lagers on draught. Staff were really friendly. Nice environment
