Easy access to Como and Cernobbio but slightly removed from general traffic. Apartment was spacious, furnishings reflected a true family vacation residence and the view, terrace and building area was very enjoyable. The property manager was very communicative and responsive. Overall a very pleasant and interesting location in which to relax and use as a base for enjoying the various locations and activities in the Lake Como area.

Being up a fairly steep street limited the incentive to walk in the area, which itself was quite attractive. However that is the nature of the geography of Como and excellent walking in the town and village was just a short drive away.

Location and facilities

The kitchen was equipped very well. The best part of the property was the dining room with almost 360 degree view outside and the part of the view which was left unobstructed. The property manager was quick to respond and helpful throughout our stay.

While I appreciate the presence of a garage parking space, it is not big enough for a car of normal size. I know this is Italy, but tourists arrive there with big cars from other parts of Europe and even our mid-size SUV could not fit in the garage. Fortunately there is space to park the car outside on the courtyard that belongs to the building. Also, for some, the road to get to the property might be a little tricky as it is very narrow and has a few blind corners which require the use of a horn. Driving to the property comfortably definitely requires experience and confidence behind the wheel.
