GuestHost - Calipso Big APT with Sea View, Parking & Pool

The location was close to shopping and restaurants without being in the middle of a pedestrian only zone. We were also provided a dedicated parking spot, which is very difficult to find in Taormina.

The entire view of the apartment was of a very large public parking lot--think football field size. The apartment had no bedside lamps in any bedroom, so finding things or reading was difficult in the middle of the night. We were not provided with a trash can for the kitchen, soap, or shampoo and we had to ask for more sheets but our host Andrea was very willing to help.

It was very spacious, clean and it’s placed in the center of Taormina. The terrace view it’s breathtaking even if there is a parking lot. The pictures match the reality. I was very content with my stay. It has 2 bathrooms and the kitchen is very well equipped. I loved also the towels which smelled fresh and were very soft.

Location was great. Apartment was very clean and comfortable and generally quiet. There is an elevator so no dragging suitcases upstairs. Off street parking was great.

Minor things that are not dealbreakers . There was a giant carpark in the way of the view so I think the pictures oversell the view. We had to get two elevators down 5 floors and then another elevator down 2 floors. The elevator rings loudly every time it arrives at a floor and this noise reverberates so you hear it if your windows are open. Need a kettle for tea makers. Second bedroom was too small for two people with suitcases.

The location is perfect! Very close to old town, and the cable car if you want to head to the beach

hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap would have been useful.
