Great facilities, clean, friendly staff

As a Chinese myself, I'm even ashamed of some of Chinese guests' behaviours. A suggestion is place another cigarette bin in front of the entrance.

到着時にスタッフが不在でチェックインまで１時間近く待ちました。

The moment I arrived I felt welcomed and the staff was amazing. They were so friendly and accomodating, even though I messed up the dates and booked my bed for the day before. Karina is super friendly, helpful and after one month in China, our short conversation made me feel like home. I would have not moved to another hostel if the location would have been a bit more central. Anyway, the wifi was good, the commo areas nice and clean, bed super clean and comfy, bathrooms/shower clean. Spotless,.really. The cheap laundry for 500 is also a bonus. I haven't slept this good since forever. Quiet, clean, good location, 7-9min from main bus station. Small shops next to the place, recommend the cheese/fish speciality store next door. You van also get cheap sim card deals in front of the station on the opposite side of the road. 💪✌️

Можно пешком дойти с автовокзала. Есть туалетная бумага, мыло для рук, салфетки для рук. Хорошие душевые. Есть фен. Тихо, спокойно. Никто никому не мешает. Есть кухонная зона с холодильником, чайником, посудой. Предоставляются пакетики с чаем, сахар, соль. Есть столики, где можно поесть.

Friendliest hostel I could find in Almaty. Real mistake only having my last night here, I would have stayed here for my whole 9 days in Almaty. Beds seemed bigger than most hostels, with good curtains and very comfy. Really good shower and toilet facilities, hot water. Also free drinking water, and a well equipped kitchen to save money on meals. The main thing was the welcoming feeling of the place, the staff and the whole atmosphere. Fair price. Location was very near the bus station for onwards travel to bishkek, karakol etc. Saiyran Reservoir is a very nice place to spend an evening, right outside the hostel.
