Golden sands holiday park- pitch H84

The location was great, the food was nice and we enjoyed the entertainment, the caravan was lovely, very homely and the beds were comfy.

It was clean and had everything we needed. Communication between the owner was clear and very helpful. Great parking around the van and in a quiet area of the site so the children were safe to play around the caravan.

Location was good, pretty central

To start with the owner was very nice and accomaodating. However the caravan did not reflect the pictures as described...outdated pictures. Firstly the caravan was not clean when we arrived (toilet was dirty)the chairs outside were worn and rotten,my partner sat on one chair and it broke and fell through cutting his leg. Inside the beds were uncomfortable and pillows were old and tatty. The blind in the lounge was broken, the light above one of the double beds was also broken. The barbecue rusty. Locacation was good and central. Overall a disappointed!

firstly can I say I can’t understand some recent nit picking reviews. Jack the owner was friendly helpful and very quick to respond to any questions by text . We had everything we needed , we are a family of 4 adults and two teenagers .Beds very comfy , good storage in bedrooms , shower great and water was lovely and hot . Tv worked just fine( someone previously complained they had an issue in review) when we decided to have a night in and seating in living room area is very spacious and comfortable .WiFi was great , We used the BBQ and had fab evening sat outside on the balcony seating area , plenty of BBQ utensils and crockery / glasses etc… good fridge freezer , microwave , hob, oven . The actual site is lovely and clean, well kept grounds , good entertainment, had one meal out in the club house that was lovely and reasonably priced so the passes included in the price are brilliant . There’s an indoor and outdoor pool and a lovely lake just up from the property , staff friendly and helpful.Site close to the town and beach with plenty to do for the kids .Sainsburys is handy just up the road for supplies and location is great at for a day out to Torquay / Brixham / Paignton if you want a change of scenery. All just perfect for us thanks Jack we will definitely be returning !!😌

nothing not to like !!

First time staying in a caravan and although the bedrooms are small it has everything you need.

The only thing I would recommend is to bring plug extension / multi plug sockets as the 2 smaller bedrooms did not have plug sockets and with kids these days that is a must!

We went home a day early as the TV facilities were so bad, no signal and no Netflix signal either. The beds were uncomfortable and we couldn't sleep well at all. Host was not very responsive when there were issues with the television signal and Netflix. He had a poor attitude and we felt as if we were bothering him. There wasn't any toilet roll spare which is shocking. The caravan wasn't particularly clean, the back of the telly was covered in fluffy dust.

The caravan was well laid out. All instructions were fine to get into accommodation. Club passes realy good

No pull switch in main bedroom for light above bed. No dust pan for brush. Window at back twin room not in caseing. Hoover a bonus but rammed full did empty it.
