"A great homely place and location for a weekend away"

Lovely cottage in a great location. Very clean and stylish furnishings. We booked this as we were doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Charity (which was a 30 mins drive away to the start at Pen-y-Ghent). We wanted somewhere walkable to local facilities which was an absolute must as we could barely walk after conquering this challenge. You step outside and shops/pubs etc are on the doorstep. (Including a fabulous butchers - with lots of pies etc). Really comfortable beds, great WiFi connection and a lovely welcome hamper from the owners. It was a wonderful place to hang around as we knew we couldn’t do much. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

It was so lovely to find fresh eggs in the kitchen - and even milk in the fridge. We were more than amazed about this hospitality and hope to come back very soon!

A charming cottage in a quiet street with parking. We could walk to several nice pubs and restaurants, as well as shops and walking paths to beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We loved it here.

The kitchen is a bit tight for two people, but one person can manage fine.

"Cosy and idyllic cottage in a fabulous town"

Everything. Clean, comfortable, very close to the centre with its great eating and drinking places. Beautiful walks by the river. Easy to park and free. Great communication from the owner. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in (including our own). A most wider cottage with outside space facing the sun
