The location is really great and the vibe of the house is really cute and comfy, perfect for a couple. The kitchen is also small but full of everything you’d need.

The induction burner was giving us some trouble, the host came and was actually trying to fix it but couldn’t. He apologised by getting us some arancini’s which we really appreciated. A day later i tried watching a tutorial video on how to fix the particular problem and it seems that I had fixed it. He had mentioned he will not charge us the tourist taxes for the inconvenience which we thought was reasonable although after fixing his induction burner so i try to get some use for what i paid for, he kept insisting we pay the tourist taxes which we were offended as I had gone out of my way to fix something that was not mine and he still charged us, contrary to what he said. I saved this host an unknown amount of money and hassle in brining an electrician. Instead we get told that we still need to pay even after the host told us we would not be charged for it.

Wszystko było super, świetna lokalizacja, cicha okolica blisko centrum. Szybki internet. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Bardzo miły właściciel. Dziękujemy za super czas.

We really liked the location. A tastefully decorated, modern and clean apartment, suited for a family of four. The interaction with the host was just right. On the same street you have shops where you can stock up on basics, there are many cafes with traditional pastries, a very nice park and the city center at a 15 min walk. Personally I didn't like the fact that there were no windows in the apartment through which you could see natural light. It was always dark and you couldn't tell if it was sunny or cloudy, raining or clear :). But after a day or two you get used to it. Probably in summer, when the temperature outside is to hot, this it's a good thing. :) Over all I recommend Caronda 52 and if we will return to Catania we will definitely have this location on our list again.

the host was super friendly and let us check in way before since we arrived very early. also, the property is very well located and it was perfect for the feist of sant‘agata.
