It was great

I did not feel unsafe. The apartment looked very clean. There was really not much that I liked about my stay there. The street had been gentrified & looked safe.

Instructions to get into the property were e-mailed to me on the day was traveling & did not have access to e-mail I spent over an hour trying to reach owner & on the phone with Booking (Booking very helpful) figuring out how to get into the property. Spent half an hour trying to get in as instructions unclear & finally owner sent someone to help me. No outside light on Saturday night & had to use cell phone light to see key pad. Inadequate light in bedroom main room, turned on by a pull chain hanging down from it. Light control pad on shelf inside door did not work. Left light in bathroom on so would not have to search for pull chain in dark if needed to get up during night. No electric outlets near bed. Not enough light in main room to read easily so sat on toilet to read, which was more comfortable than the 2 small chairs in the sitting room. Shower water only luke warm after running for a while & shower handle blocked so could not be turned to hot. Plastic mat over shower drain when arrived. Moved it so shower would drain. In the morning there was a bad, musty smell in the bathroom & realized mat was there to keep bad smell from emanating from the drain. No set of drawers to put clothes in. There were fake drawers in the counter under the bathroom & I eventually realized that 2 of these drawers were real. There were only very small trash cans in the bathroom & in a closet in the kitchen. TV did not work to watch television, although I could probably have watched YouTube on it. The place looked spotlessly clean & there were decorations, like a large collection of plastic butterflies on the wall, but I would have preferred lights, a shower & a television which worked well.

Everything. The experience as a whole was shocking. We arrived late at night with no outside lighting to the building. Area unsafe near gun pawn shops and not welcoming. There are tenants in the main part of building chatting all night and cars parking in front of room window coming & going late as well. On morning of departure the "host" at 10:20am calls and messages. Knocks on door as well about cleaning service. Check-out is at 11am. Why am I being kicked out essentially??? I have all the right to time before 11am. I've never felt more unwanted, unwelcome, and used. Also the accounts on the TV were unpaid and so nothing on the TV worked. I took pictures of suspicious stuff on the sheets too and just swapped them with a pair I had. 100% regret booking and 100% suggest to stay away

Very clean and cute. Decorated very nicely and privacy.

it's a private room and it had all we needed to have a great stay . close to everything
