*King Bed* Comfy City House

Really comfortable accommodation and close to local amenities 👍

Needs a little bit of attention in the bathroom and a bit more utensils in the kitchen, casserole pot etc but really nice home 😊

Location for our purposes was excellent

The temperature of the water in the shower fluctuated for no apparent reason

Easy to get in. More difficult to place key back in the lock box. I had to ring up and get a new code but apparently this did not work either. Some instructions about how the two ‘faint’ operational signs on the front work would have been helpful.

The accommodation was generally clean and well presented. The living area was comfortable, and there was enough space to relax. The bedrooms were both clean and the beds were very comfortable. The area was quiet and peaceful.

Certain pieces of furniture were not well maintained, which sadly distracted from the overall cleanliness of the accommodation. These included the fridge-freezer and coffee table and dining table, all of which had significant signs of wear and tear. Certain parts of the kitchen were not as clean as we would have expected. Some of the cupboard handles and metal shelving had a light coating of grease and were sticky to the touch. Some cutlery still had food residue on them, and plates bowls had a thin layer of dirt. All had to be washed before use. We were also surprised that there was no tin opener, bottle opener, or corkscrew. The second bedroom had a bifold door, but there was no handle or latch and the bolt was on the outside. The only way I was able to keep the door shut was to push something underneath it.
