GBLocation for Co-op Live was good
The kitchen wasn’t useable, pans of fat left on the cooker it was grubby, broken cupboards, desk/gaming chair in the middle of the room. My daughter has coeliac so we always try and get accommodation with kitchen facilities, I wouldn’t cook anything in there for myself so definitely not for her. Cupboards were chaotic one drawer was even full of tools. Somebody cleaned a duvet cover and that was draped all over the kitchen door. We had to share a bathroom, my fault for not reading the small print, to be fair the owner offered us a 50% refund to cancel, but we couldn’t afford to lose that and book somewhere else. There was a towel radiator to dry your towel in the bathroom but you’re not going to use that when you are sharing with strangers. The bedroom was very tight. Most of the room was taken up with a large fitted wardrobe that isn’t going to get used when you’re only there for a day or two. The bed was pushed up against the wall underneath the window against the radiator, which came on and not only could you not get into bed easily but it was roasting! Only one side had a bedside cabinet and the mirror is either on the side of the wardrobe right behind the door or on the fitted wardrobe door which isn’t always at the right height. It was very snug. The curtains are not black out so be prepared to wake up early. No kettle in the bedroom so you need to get dressed before your morning coffee. We din’t find the property particularly clean or comfortable and left a day early. There are also only two parking spaces and other cars have to park at the side of the property on the grass, we arrived when it was raining and had been for a while so we had to get out of the car with luggage in the mud and wet grass. If all you want is a place to sleep and park the car for an event at the Co-op Live, then this property could be acceptable for you, but plan to eat out and be warned about what you are getting.

INThe room is very cozy with good lighting. The owner Mr. Henry was a gem, as we could not find transport to the trains station on the day of our departure, he was kind enough to drop us there.
The stay is a bit out of the city

GBVery clean, easy access. It was very hot so fan was a bonus. Very good location.
GBGood location, easy access, off road parking, room was comfortable, bathroom was very clean, access was simple and convenient. The kitchen had everything I needed. It’s a shared residential property so it did feel like a home away from home.
WiFi was patchy, slowed and cut out at times. This was fine for casual use but probably would have been a challenge if you wanted to work in the property
GBReally enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean, comfortable and honestly looked even better in person. The area was really quiet and peaceful, perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to properly relax and have a calm stay. The location was good as well, especially with the 219 bus close by that goes straight into the city, so getting around was easy. Everything was smooth from checking in to leaving and the whole place just felt very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
