The best part was leaving

The house was filthy and had not been cleaned at all. Dirt and grime everywhere. Fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms had been removed. Someone was living in the garden, which was not disclosed to us. We booked the property to attend a family funeral and specifically booked somewhere with a garden as we have 2 children, one of whom has Autism and Epilepsy so a safe garden area for them to play was vital. This property is not suitable for families with children. We felt extremely unsafe, would not drink or cook here. We paid £100 just to be able to return home early and would not recommend it to anyone with children. We have never had an issue with a property from booking.com before. The landlord definitely needs to speak to his cleaners and give them training, we say that as we are domestic cleaners and this property was horrific. He should also disclose that the garden is off-limits as someone lives there and disclose that there is no back door key. We were worried the man in the back garden had the back door key and was worried anyone could just enter the property. This is false advertising. I did message the landlord about how filthy the property was, and he did say he would speak to the cleaners. However, I don't think this property had been cleaned for weeks/months. I have added 4 photos, as this is all that is allowed on the review. However, I have 80 photographs, all time stamped within the first hour of our arrival, which I have shared with booking.com

I did not like anything in this property just a waste of money

The owner is so rude he also use abusive language if you complain to him anything and while we stay he keep disturbing to take his stuff from flat even he came in Midnight to take some copper pipes the shower was awful the water wasn’t draining and specially the heater is not working at all

It was awful

Mould all over the bathroom, fungi growing on walls behind the toilet. Drugs rolled up in tin foil in between sofa pillows, floor being dirty, windows not having handles, no fire alarms, getting electricuted when switching on the light upstairs, ALL socket plugs upstairs sparking when you wanted to plug something in, fridge being filthy, left over food in the oven,front door not closing properly, the LIE about having a back garden when someone else lives there, no key to back door, old suitcases and loads of rubbish where the “driveway” is to park the car, the horrendous smell as soon as you enter the property, dirty stained walls and doors around all house. It was an unsafe place to be as we had children so we had to leave. NEVER AGAIN! SCAM!

The kitchen could do with a new kettle or at least clean one without scale
